Paul Darrow is a Houston DWI attorney and criminal defense attorney that handles each client’s case as if they were a member of his own family. He is committed to fighting for his client’s freedom and reputation. Paul is a former prosecutor that has now dedicated his career to defending people charged with crimes at both the State and Federal level.
A great criminal defense attorney is not only going to be a skilled trial lawyer, but also a good problem solver. Paul prides himself on his creative use of the law and criminal procedure in getting the results his clients have come to expect. Paul believes that in order to have the most effective relationship possible trust and respect are required. During law school Paul had internships at both the Harris County District Attorney's Office and the Fort Bend District Attorney's Office. After law school he began his legal career at the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. He tried cases in every County Court in Galveston handling cases ranging from DWI to Assault. He was promoted to the Felony Trial Division in less than nine months. While there he handled hundreds of felony cases and was again promoted to the Crimes Against Children section of the Felony Trial Division. This section handles some of the toughest cases. There Paul tried numerous cases including Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Indecency with a Child, Child Pornography Charges, and Online Solicitation of a Minor Cases.
During Paul’s time as a prosecutor he honed his trial skills and was trained by some of the best trial lawyers in the state. He now uses those same skills to fight for his clients. He uses his experience prosecuting hundreds of cases everyday.
Paul believes in finding one area of the law and doing it better than anyone else. That’s why his law practice is devoted 100% to criminal defense. In any given year Paul attends more continuing legal education and training that is required by the State Bar of Texas and all of it is focused on finding the most cutting edge trial techniques and law to help his clients accused of crimes. As a result of Paul's dedication to his legal education he is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Paul is a former Eagle Scout and lives the motto, "Be Prepared."
